More Than a Game
Utah State Pop Warner is launching in 2027 as Utah's newest youth football and cheer organization, dedicated to developing young athletes ages 5–15 through the sport they love.
We believe in building character, instilling discipline, and creating lifelong memories — all while keeping kids safe, active, and part of a winning community.
Why Choose Utah Pop Warner?
Utah families are new to Pop Warner — here's what makes us different from every other local league.
Age-Based Divisions
Kids play against peers of their same age and maturity level, preventing massive developmental gaps.
Non-Weighted & No Weight Cuts
No dangerous dieting, no pre-game scale anxiety, and no unsafe water depletion.
No "X" Player Restrictions
Every single child has the opportunity to throw, catch, and run the ball.
Boundary Waiver Flexibility
More freedom for families to choose the right team for their schedule.
The Ultimate Stage
Real local, regional, and national championship pathways that other local leagues simply cannot match.
Our Uncompromised Protection Policy
We know player safety is your number one priority — it's ours too. Utah Pop Warner strictly enforces the nation's most advanced Pop Warner Safety Regulations.
Mandatory Coach Certification
Every single coach must complete USA Football's Heads Up Football training to teach advanced, head-out-of-the-tackle techniques.
Strict 25% Contact Limits
Contact and tackling are strictly restricted to a maximum of 25% of total practice time to reduce fatigue and impact.
Banned High-Risk Drills
Full-speed, head-on blocking and tackling drills starting more than 3 yards apart are entirely outlawed.
No Three-Point Stance or Kickoffs
Eliminated in our youngest divisions to minimize collision speeds and protect growing bodies.
Rigid Concussion Protocol
Any player showing even minor signs of a head injury is removed immediately and cannot return without formal clearance from a specialized medical professional.
Certified Medical Presence
A First Aid/CPR certified safety official or EMT is required to attend every single practice and game.
Give Every Kid a Chance to Shine Safely
Don't let a scale dictate your child's position on the field, and don't compromise on their safety. Join a league that celebrates growth, prioritizes player wellness, and opens the door to national competition.
