Eligibility Requirements
Pop Warner uses age-based divisions with a strict cutoff date. Review the requirements before registering.
Age Cutoff: July 14
A player's division is determined by their age as of July 14 of the current year. This date is firm — no exceptions.
Age Cutoff Date
Player's age is determined as of July 14 of the current Pop Warner year. The Pop Warner calendar runs July 15 through July 14.
Birth Certificate Required
A valid birth certificate must be submitted at registration to verify age eligibility for your player's division.
Academic Eligibility
Pop Warner requires all participants to maintain satisfactory academic standing. Grade verification may be required.
Medical Clearance
A current physical examination and physician sign-off is required before any player may participate in practice or games.
Residency
Players must reside within the Utah State Pop Warner region or be enrolled in a school within the region.
How Registration Works
Submit Interest
Fill out the interest form below. We will contact you when registration officially opens for the 2027 season.
Complete Registration
When registration opens, complete the official Pop Warner registration form and pay the season fee online.
Submit Documents
Provide your player's birth certificate, proof of residency, academic records, and a current physical exam.
Attend Placement
Attend the division placement event where your player will be assigned to the correct age-based division.
Gear Up & Play
Receive equipment information, meet your coaches, and get ready for the 2027 season kickoff.
Registration Fees
Fees for the 2027 season will be announced when registration opens. Scholarship assistance will be available for qualifying families.
